Celebrancy

Looking for someone to care for you and your family in one of life’s major milestones?

With extensive experience in both public speaking and as a Funeral Director, I understand that each stage of life is precious. With a listening ear and an empathetic heart, I care deeply for each family I serve. Every service is tailored to you and what you envisage. It’s a highly personal experience, and it ought to be. Whether it’s a Wedding or a Funeral, these ceremonies are made for you. They help us grow and mark new chapters in our lives. If you’re looking for a celebrant to support you, please get in touch today.

Weddings & Elopements

I married my beautiful wife, Tiffany, back in 2019. We were married in a church in Toowoomba, and, as I reflect on that day, it was the best day of my life. A day celebrating the love you have for your best friend. And yes, my cheeks hurt by the end of the day.

I’ve been involved in many weddings, as both ceremony officiant and master of ceremonies roles. Being asked to serve on such an important day is an honour and privilege.

When planning a ceremony, I always meet the happy couple. We need to get to know each other, but also, it helps you put a face to my name. Personal is always best. So when I meet with you, I’ll ask you many questions and seek to get to know you. I’m an understanding person, but really enjoy a good laugh. All ceremonies I conduct are done so with joy and care. If you would like to reach out, I conduct all weddings through Arrow & Knot Ceremonies – you can use their booking form here.

Funerals & Memorials

As an experienced Funeral Director, I’ve seen a lot. Everyone has a story, and it is our stories that make us who we are. As a Funeral Celebrant, the best part of this role is hearing people’s life stories. There is so much that can be learned from the experiences of another. And there can be so much joy in a Funeral Celebration.

I’ve worked as a Funeral Director for Australian Heritage Funerals. I worked in the background on many services, ranging from religious to non-religious. The spectrum was as broad as the people. Having completed a Bachelor of Theology and spent time in many different fields, I understand many different fields and stages of life.

When someone passes, it can be a traumatic experience. It doesn’t matter how much notice you have; when they do pass, the grief can sweep over you quickly. Often, it’s stronger and deeper than you could have imagined. In these times, you need a strong network of people around you. Support can be comforting. And for that reason, when you meet me, you’ll find I have a listening ear and a strong desire to honour the memory of your loved one. I’ll give you guidance and direction as needed.

In consultation, we’ll build a service plan reflecting your loved one’s life journey. Every service is unique, and they need to be. I work with many different Funeral Directors in the South-East Queensland region, in consultation with them, they can book me for you. Similarly, you can book me through Arrow & Knot Ceremonies, or by personally reaching out via the contact form below.
